Each Boveda package provides humidity due to pure water vapor, which is released thanks to the use of a specially developed reverse osmosis Boveda membrane. This two-way process prevents cigars from absorbing any unwanted flavors and aromas, as can happen with more traditional humidifiers, which use sponges, gels or other materials to distribute moisture. This also means that the cigars will never come into direct contact with water or other substances that may cause damage or negatively affect the cigars.

Each Boveda 8g pack is optimized to achieve a specific ambient humidity for every 6 cigars placed in the humidor. If you have a 50 cigar humidor, for example, use two 60g Boveda bags and you’re good to go. After two to four months, the bags will harden and you will know it is time to replace them. Just throw out the old ones and add the new ones. It’s very simple!

All Boveda bags provide incredible accuracy within +/- 1% RH in sealed conditions. Because no humidor is truly airtight, which contributes 5 percentage points to the dryness of the environment, Boveda staff have developed a range of packages to suit your needs.

Precisely control humidity in your airtight cigar humidor to protect the essential oils and sugars in premium cigars. No more mess of using sponges, gels or beads. 69% RH is suitable for wood cigar humidors with a tight seal, acrylic humidors, tupperdors, coolerdors as well as plastic travel humidors and cigar cases.

Please note:

• Do not mix Boveda humidipaks with different humidity levels in one container.
• Do not use any other humidification products with the Boveda humidipaks.
